Welcome to Portage County Master Gardener Volunteers

A volunteer organization dedicated to science-based horticulture and education

Who We Are

The Portage County Master Gardener Volunteers (PCMG) is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to service and education. Members help residents learn about gardening, best horticulture practices, pests, and diseases. Portage County volunteers complete training and continuing education to be certified Master Gardener through the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Division of Extension, Horticulture program.

Garden 2: Neil Peterson Horticulture Services LLC, Stain Glass Reflections - Earl Studinski, Live Edge Turnings LLC - David Lamb, Little Free Plant Library (starter size perennials and house plants - while they last).

Garden 3: Music by Snow on the Mountain - Don and Anne Pawlak, That Guy on J - Jeremy Weber, Artist Nancy Thorson - Mixed Media and Glass, The Village Hive Bakery.

Garden 4: Concrete Creations Plus - Laurie Kosmalski, Petting Zoo, Showcase Container Raffle.

Garden 5: Kreations by Stef - Stef Peski, Simple Harvest (Fruit Syrups) - Michelle Shulfer.

Garden 6: Artist Jeanne Chase - Mixed Media, Pollinator Education - Jill Ziehr (representing Central Wisconsin Wild Ones), Bee and Butterfly Stations - Kathy Kruthoff, Lucky Bird Native Plants LLC - Amanda Barth, Red Bird Acres (Tea and natural products) - Angela Kennelly, Glass Art Studios - Kristin Thielking.

Date: Saturday July 11, 2026

Time: 9AM -4PM

$10 in Advance, $12 Day of Parade.
