Three native gardens welcome you to the park. Though technically not native to Wisconsin, these Yuccas provide the backdrop for native Prickly Pear Cactus.

Located at 1001 Sunset Blvd in Stevens Point, Hein Park offers a wide variety of native plants and flowers, providing a feeding spot for many pollinators.

In coordination with the YMCA, Master Gardeners built and maintain 26 raised beds to teach children about horticulture from seed starting to harvest! These gardens are located behind the YMCA at 1000 Division Street.
